Journey's End
I spent the next day being exhausted but watched the 1930 Journey's End on You Tube, which is extremely good and being only 12 years after the War must be quite authentic. I then read the play and I would highly recommend both as a sort of final wrap up to the group! When you see the film/read the play you can see why David and Anthony are so keen on it.

Online Resources
In conversation, Andrew Ferry enthusiastically told me what enormous resources there were on the internet. As my great-uncle had an unusual name - Jacob Mattana - I googled 'Mattana WW1' there and then, and was amazed instantly to find his war record, in 13 pages, on a Jewish WW1 website - including his chest measurement!
An encouragement to me and hopefully to others to investigate their families experiences and use the resources that are available.
